About:

Looking for Iraqi refugees or immigrants willing to contribute their stories! Especially within Sweden or the United States! Contact Sofia JJ Murad personally: jjinreverie@aol.com

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It’s strange how we sometimes view our own lives as stories. Looking ahead to the ultimate happy ending, but never really appreciating what we have in the vast rigor of the present. The experiences I’ve had in the past two years have inspired me to write these stories about the connections between a father and daughter separated by continents. Finding themselves in different environments changes their views on the world both dragging them apart and bringing them together. Some of these stories will follow the moments leading up to me and my father finding purpose in life, as well as finding each other. Some stories will connect our thoughts to present. And other stories will be told hoping you are able to find some small meaning to carry with you throughout your day. Thank You For Reading!
